Founded in 1773, Istanbul Technical University (ITU) is a prominent and pioneering university of engineering and architecture with many innovative studies in science, technology, research, and development. ITU facilitates the knowledge and technology transfer to industries, through its multiple Techno-Science parks, incubation, entrepreneurship, and innovation centre. ITU will coordinate the STEM_Valorise project and guide the development of the Digital Gallery of Success and Fail Stories of Academic STEM Entrepreneurs.
Institute Mines-Télécom Business School (IMTBS)
L' Institute Mines-Télécom Business School (IMTBS)
IMTBS is one of 13 graduate schools in the Institut Mines-Telecom, one of France’s major educational and research establishments. IMTBS is internationally renowned in its field with very close links to business and government and is acknowledged for its expertise in management, entrepreneurship and ICT. In this project, IMTBS is responsible for the delivery of the Valorisation Training Investigation Report.
The University-Industry Innovation Network (UIIN)
The University-Industry Innovation Network (UIIN)
UIIN Is a European-wide network that focuses on establishing and improving relationships between education and industry. Through its projects, consulting services, professional education, and research activities, UIIN is a leader in the development of engaged and entrepreneurial universities and has grown to be the preeminent organization dedicated to the topic in Europe. In this project, UIIN will guide the development of the Valorisation Training Programme and Toolkit and will be responsible for the Dissemination of this project.
Munster Technological University (MTU)
Munster Technological University (MTU)
MTU has been formed by the merger of Cork Institute of Technology and the Institute of Technology Tralee. The newly formed University offers a wide range of education programmes from vocational education of apprentices to doctoral level in Science, Engineering, Business and Humanities. Constituent colleges include the Cork School of Music, Cork College of Art and Design and the National Maritime College of Ireland.
MTU has a long tradition of engagement with external partners including industry and community groups, ensuring that our teaching and research are informed by current priorities and future directions and that our graduates are ready to make meaningful impact. MTU Extended Campus and Hincks Centre for Entrepreneurship will be contributing to all of the work packages in the project and will be coordinating the pilot testing.
